The event

The seven schools of the Tuscan Archipelago will come together to share their experiences, ongoing projects and new perspectives on ocean education, while also exploring initiatives developed in other parts of Italy.

Promoted by Fondazione Acqua dell’Elba and organised in collaboration with ISIS Foresi in Portoferraio, the event will provide an opportunity to highlight the work of the schools involved in the European Blue Schools initiative, showcase their achievements and encourage dialogue among teachers, students and organisations committed to promoting Ocean Literacy.

The morning will feature a combination of in-person presentations and online contributions, offering the opportunity to discover and compare experiences from other Italian schools, with the aim of fostering new connections and opportunities for collaboration.

The event will conclude with the presentation of the new scuoleblu.it portal and the collaboration agreements between the Foundation and schools on the Island of Elba for the 2026–2028 period.

Presentation of completed initiatives and ongoing projects through a combination of in-person presentations and online contributions, alternating to encourage dialogue between different regions.

12:15–12:30 pm | Conclusions and future perspectives
