The Acqua dell'Elba Foundation "book project" aims to enrich the libraries of all of Elba's secondary schools with more than 100 new books each year. The schools involved are the "G. Cerboni" technical school and the "Raffaello Foresi" higher education institute.
Of the 100 books selected, 2/3 are chosen each year by the schools through the organisation of meetings between the leadership, the delegated teaching staff and student representatives, while 1/3 are chosen by the Acqua dell'Elba Foundation in agreement with the leaderships of the two schools. The subject matter of the latter varies from year to year. The books are useful for producing specific project work - for more on this please see the dedicated section.
