The "Health" department of the Acqua dell'Elba Foundation will involve support of two extraordinary local realities working for the physical and psychological support of people regretfully affected by serious or invalidating pathologies. The first is EndoElba, a newly formed Association in support of women affected by Endometriosis, an exclusively female pathology which is still not so widely known, though it is widespread in Italy as well as on Isola d'Elba, and which requires an early diagnosis in order to prevent worsening health conditions for the patient.

The second is the historic association "Diversamente Sani" ("Differently Healthy"), an Elban beacon of hope for patients of oncological illnesses and their families, providing them with creative activities, information, advice, or simple companionship. The Association "develops a series of projects aimed at enriching the rebirth process every patient goes through, experiencing and dealing with every step of the illness, until it is healed."
